DESCRIPTION:April 15-18\, 2026Open: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.\nApril 19\, 2026Open: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.\n\nCentral KY Ag Expo678 S Wallace Wilkinson BlvdLiberty\, KY 42539\nEvent details:Sales animals availableAdoption incentive available\nBLM staff will be onsite to provide more information and assist with the application process.\n\nEvent Description\n\n\nThe Bureau of Land Management will host a wild horse and burro placement event\, offering 250 excess horses and burros (200 horses and 50 burros) gathered from western rangelands\, April 15-19\, 2026\, at the Central KY Ag-Expo Center in Liberty\, Kentucky. \n\n\n“The BLM has placed over 300\,000 wild horses and burros into private care since 1971\,” said Acting Southeastern States District Manager Shayne Banks. “This is an opportunity to provide a good home to one of America’s Living Legends.” \n\n\nThe event will be open to the public April 15-18 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.\, and April 19\, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. BLM staff will be onsite to provide more information and assist with the application process. \n\n\nAt this event all animals will be available for adoption/purchase onsite\, no animals offered on the Online Corral will be available at this event.
