DESCRIPTION:Join us for our 31st Annual Quilt & Craft Auction that is taking place on October 9th & 10th\, 2020! \nIf you like good food\, handmade quilts and homemade crafts\, this event is for you! \nThis is our biggest fundraising event of the year with over 300 quilts and crafts up for bid along with hundreds of buy-now items. \nWe kick off the event on Friday night\, October 9th\, at 4:30PM with a spaghetti supper in the main house. There will be a program by our Galilean Family at 6:30PM in the gym followed by our craft auction. Saturday morning\, October 10th\, there is a pancake breakfast in the main house at 7AM and the Quilt Auction begins in the gym at 10AM. \nThere will be lunch available just outside the gym as well as concessions\, baked items and more available throughout the day Saturday. There will be campus tour schedules posted. All times are eastern. \nIf you have never attended this event before\, the Galilean Quilt and Craft Auction is used to raise funds for our ministry here at the Galilean Children’s Home. We are a non-profit\, donation-funded ministry located in Liberty\, Kentucky providing children of ALL ages a place to call HOME. \nAll of the quilts and crafts that are auctioned off at our event are donated items. If you’d like to contribute you can send donated quilts or crafts to 712 S. Fork Church Rd. Liberty\, KY. 42539! \nWe are also working on getting online bidding available for everyone who won’t be able to make it in-person. Stay tuned! ? \nAlso\, we are working very hard to make this a safe event for our supporters and our residents. It’s fun and easy!\nAll supplies are included – choose your own colors\, and you get two canvases!\n\nFlip Cup Technique\n​In this class\, you’ll create 2 paintings using the flip cup technique. Basically\, you’ll pour several colors into a cup\, and flip the cup onto the canvas. The paint pours out\, and then you tip and tilt the canvas\, using gravity to move the paint around. The colors swirl and form a super cool abstract painting!\nWe end up with a lot of paint on the canvases\, so they’ll need to dry overnight before you can take them home. Plan on picking up your paintings the following Monday.\n\nAges 10+

We will be onsite at Ag/Expo center all day Friday\, March 26th to consign items and on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th by appointment. If you need to make arrangements to drop off an item you can call our office at 606-787-8391.\nItems to be paid for the day of sale with cash\, check\, or credit/debit card. All sales are final. Everything is sold “AS IS WHERE IS” with no warranties expressed\, written\, or implied.
