We encourage you to get out and hike on your own with social distance in mind. However\, Barbara and I will be providing a digital hike for those who are interested in getting some information about the wildflowers that are out right now. I hope to post a video\, pictures\, and information tomorrow evening so that you can enjoy a hike on Saturday with some wildflower knowledge! Thank you all for your understanding\, stay tuned\, and go out and enjoy this wonderful weather! Check out our Facebook Page to see videos and photos from the walk.\n-Heather Cundiff\, Tourism Director \n—————– \nWalk along scarcely traveled country roads to view an exceptional variety of spring wildflowers as they bloom from late March to late April. Hikes will be scheduled to ensure that the greatest variety of flowers can be seen. \nThe FIRST hike will be March 28th\, 2020. **However\, the date may change due to early or late-blooming or inclement weather. Check the event posting for updated information before traveling to the site. \nParticipants should meet at 1 PM at Liberty First Christian Church in Liberty\, KY. Hikers will meet in the parking lot and carpool a short distance to the trail. \nThe hike is free and sponsored by Casey County Explorers.\nOn the first hike\, see the poster for some of the flowers that you would expect to see.
